18x20x1 Pleated Air Filters

Spacing of the pleats allows for air travel across the entire surface of the filter and increased filtering capacity. Larger dust particles are captured at the top and bottom of the pleat. Smaller particles will be caught in the sides of the pleat surface.

The filter is constructed from a rigid, fire retardant material. It performs extremely well even in difficult operating conditions. The filtering media is glued to the frame itself, ensuring that the air will not be able to escape, or bypass the filter.

Why Should You Replace Furnace Air Filters Regularly?

If your furnace filter is dirty, all that dirt and dust makes air flow more sluggish, forcing your furnace to work harder to heat your home. This is a needless waste of energy and contributes to higher heating costs.

Dirty filters also do a poorer job of preventing that dust from forming a build-up in your heating system, which in turn could lead to maintenance problems down the road. After all, the main purpose of a furnace filter is to protect your furnace equipment.
